First Friday Club
By Dene Tonna
In the midst of the recession local companies were struggling to find ways of making new business relationships. And, crucially, making those connections without cost. And so the Reading Chronicle was invited to create a networking event.
The First Friday club enables business owners and key personnel to meet new contacts and catch up with members at the monthly FFC gatherings. The FFC format is ideal for growing a business through developing trusted business relationships and allows individuals to meet and discuss relevant issues with like-minded people - without there being a cost issue or expenditure.
The first event was held at the Jazz Club in October 2009 and the Reading Chronicle continues to organise the monthly meetings at Hotels in the Reading Town centre . As a trusted media partner, the Reading Chronicle offers a direct link to its editorial team. It is a one-stop shop for commercial organisations to obtain valuable recommendations for marketing, PR and advertising suppliers and channels based on an evolving network newspaper contacts. First Friday Club is growing and continues to grow.
Find out how this can work for you by coming to an FFC networking meeting. For forthcoming FFC meetings log on to www.firstfridayclubreading.com
